Masjid sound systems that keep every word clear
Marble floors, domes and hard walls make a masjid one of the hardest rooms to get right: the khutbah turns to echo and the back rows strain to follow. KYAF designs masjid systems around the building, so the azan carries outside and every word of the khutbah and recitation reaches every musalli inside, without the boom.
WHAT MATTERS
Speech first, not volume
Column loudspeakers such as the JBL CBT series aim sound at the people, not at the dome and walls, so the voice stays clear even in a highly reverberant hall. Louder horns only add more echo.
Even coverage, front row to courtyard
We map the hall, the women's section, the verandah and the courtyard, and zone them so each area gets the right level from its own speakers, controlled from one place.
Azan that carries outside
Weather-resistant horns or all-weather speakers on the minaret or roof, on their own amplifier channel, so the azan reaches the neighbourhood without making the prayer hall too loud.
Microphones the imam forgets about
A gooseneck on the mimbar, a wireless microphone for the imam and a reliable microphone for the muazzin, tuned so they don't feed back when someone stands close.
THE EQUIPMENT
What we typically specify

QUESTIONS
Frequently asked
What is the best sound system for a masjid?
For most masjids, column loudspeakers such as the JBL CBT series give the clearest speech, because they aim sound at the musallis instead of the dome and walls. Pair them with a zoned amplifier, a gooseneck microphone on the mimbar and separate outdoor speakers for the azan.
Why does the khutbah echo in our masjid?
Hard surfaces such as marble, domes and glass reflect sound, and ordinary box or horn speakers spray it everywhere, so the reflections arrive after the words. Directional column speakers, placed and tuned for the hall, reduce the echo without making the system quieter.
How much does a masjid sound system cost in Pakistan?
It depends on the size of the hall, how many zones there are and whether the azan needs outdoor speakers. KYAF quotes each masjid after a site survey, so you only pay for what the building needs. Send the hall size on WhatsApp for a first estimate.
Do you install masjid sound systems outside Karachi?
Yes. KYAF supplies and installs across Pakistan, and can survey a masjid from drawings and photos before a site visit.
